We don't believe so.
Is it a simple bolt on alternator, or is it controlled by an on board computer that needs configuration when fitting the alternator? Hurricane Workhorse RV 8.1 ltr V8 (purchased second hand a year ago). The alternator has been removed by Auto-Electrician in Portugal and does not seem to be the original equipment (looks like a recon), so presumably had failed before (which seems to be strange on a low mileage vehicle - just 10k miles) The equipment removed is a _4 pin_ DR44G 145 amp which may be for a lower powered 6.5 ltr vehicle?. We understand that a stronger 250 amp version is available as an upgrade in the USA a Delco AD244 We want to be sure to fit the correct one, or upgrade to a stronger one, so that it doesn't fail again. Do you have either of these _4 pin version_ alternators in stock? Price/s? Delivery cost to Auto service in Portugal? Thanks for any help you can offer. regards, David ( David Harley, 04/03/2018 )
