Yes, it will.
Where is this kit (switch) located after installation? ( Jackie E Lawhon, 06/26/2019 )

Jackie,

The switch is relocated to the side of the transmission.

Hi . I have a p30 Chevy motorhome . 454 adventurer. Can I use this on my rig . It’s just bypassing the old switch ?
Thank you mark

Yes, it will work and it does bypass the old switch.
I have an issue with going into reverse with my 1997 National Sea Breeze MH and was wondering if this switch could be the problem? I have to find the sweet spot on the shift lever between reverse and neutral in order to go in reverse which most of the time it will lock up and come to a hard stop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Michael

Michael,

Yes, this kit fixes that issue. What you described is a common problem with that design. The cam that rotates to press the switch wears down and no longer presses the switch fully. This Kit relocates the switch and solves the problem.
