Is it possible to rebuild my brake actuator ? Do you have a seal kit? I bought this motor home with the Autobrake light on and another brake light.
It drove good the brakes work fine , I didn’t discover there was no parking brakes until I got home. I was doing some research and found a person that took his actuator to a hydraulic shop and for $20 repaired the hydraulic cylinder , installed it and it worked fine. My actuator has a switch that bolts up to the spring that works the drum shoes. The only problem I’m sure of is when I filled the reservoir the oil leaked out between the actuator seals leaking. We do not offer a seal kit for the actuator, we found too many had scored pistons that would cause them to leak shortly after a reseal. We do have replacement actuators available.
