Description:

Koni Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) shock absorbers provide superior handling characteristics without compromising ride comfort. The FSD is firm where you need it, such as through corners, but rides soft over expansion joints and rough roads. A special valve filters out annoying vibrations before they enter the vehicle, resulting in a smooth ride over a variety of road surfaces.

I ordered Koni rear shocks for my 2018 Bounder F53 chassis does the shock install exposed shaft up or down? I would assume down but you know what happens when you assume. Thanks. ( Robert , 12/09/2021 )

You will want to install so that the exposed shaft is on the top. ( Support )

If I order 2 Koni 8805 1019 shocks today to be shipped to Alabama when could I expect delivery. I’m kinda on a short timeframe here. :-)

Koni Shocks, Front and Rear, and Trac Bar

I plan to order both front and rear Koni FSD shocks for my motorhome (2007 Newmar Canyon Star 3303, 20,500GVWR). Based on it's age, are there any other parts that I need or should buy to properly install the shocks? Bushings, fasteners, etc? I prefer not to be in the middle of the swap and find out that I need some additional parts. If I am going to change them, I want to do it right. ( Robert Trachsler, 04/06/2021 )

The only parts you would be reusing are the bolts, washers and nuts. You shouldn't require replacing those. ( Support )

No the 8805-1019 does not have a dust shield. ( Support )

I am interested in the Koni shocks for my ford F-53 motorhome to smooth out the ride. Are you able to install an axel at a time or must you install all four shocks at once? ( Steven Finch, 10/18/2016 )

Yes you can install just fronts or just rears. Most people that install just one axle will order the other shortly thereafter :)
