Description:

The SS300TP tail pipe kit is required for use on all Chevy/Workhorse P30/P32 chassis applications where the exhaust system is routed over the axle and a Trac Bar will be installed. Reconfigures system to side-exit in front of rear axle. Includes exhaust piping, clamps, hanger and heat shield.

That is why the RV manufacturer routed it behind the axle originally, we have seen many coaches with the exhaust behind the LR tires and in front of the RR tires due to the slide-out, however, the vehicle is not normally ran with the slide-out extended . The only other option to enable fitting a rear trac bar would be to have an exhaust shop modify the exhaust to exit the RH side , a fairly difficult job, depending on room and clearances . Many of these kits have been installed without issues .
