Description:

The UltraTrac Rear Trac Bar mounts from the frame rail to the rear axle to prevent wandering or "tail wagging the dog" issues in windy conditions or by passing trucks. This is a very popular upgrade to the Ford F53 chassis as it provides a significant increase in stability of the coach, inspiring driver confidence and less work at the wheel. Assembled from heavy-gauge steel and polyurethane bushings, this is a "no-drill" installation. Powder coated for long lasting protection and made Proudly in the USA.

Hello Craig, we do have rear trac-bars for the P32 Chassis , if the exhaust exits behind the axle, you will need to modify the exhaust to allow clearance for the bar. ( We offer a kit for that if needed) . If the u-bolts are not long enough , the SuperSteer bar comes with new longer U-bolts as well.

We hope to have the UltraTrac back in stock sometime in early February 2021. The main difference between the UltraTrac and TigerTrak is that they are produced by two different companies and one is red and the other is black. ( Support )

These are currently at powder coat and we are expecting to have them the week of 8/17/2020. The TigerTrak TT2401 is the equivalent and besides color, is almost identical. ( Support )

The difference is the manufacturer, color and the shape of some of the brackets. They mount essentially the same. We can offer the lower price on the UltraTrac because we have those produced for us whereas the SuperSteer ones we have to purchase from them. ( Support )

I have an '07 Kodiak chasis 32' Born Free with Link Ultra-Ride air bag suspension in the rear. Will this rear trac bar ( UTF53V10R )work for me? And as I understand it, I'll install it on level ground with the RV loaded and airbags full. When I dump the air from the bags, will the trac bar cause any problems that you've heard? Running your VIN through Ford did not tell us what your GVWR is so I can't for sure tell you based on the VIN. If you look under the coach at the rear differential and it has a smooth rear facing pumpkin then this would be correct. If it has a bolt on cover with heat fins it would take the UTF53V8R. What is the difference between this Ultra Trac Bar and the Super Steer SS401 trac bar? We have a 2017 Georgetown 351 DS on a 20,500# F53 Chassis. Is there a difference except for cost and color?

The differences between the UltraTrac and SuperSteer trac bars is minimal. The shape of the brackets, color and who manufactures them are the only differences. ( Support )

I have already installed the roadmaster rear sway bar and steering stabilizer on my unit. Would the rear ultra trac bar provide me more improvement on driving in windy conditions or are there other items that are better? are there other items I haven't installed yet that you compliment this? If so is UTF53V10R the correct unit for my rig?

Yes the rear trac bar is very beneficial in reducing "push" in windy conditions. I would recommend it strongly as it is one of the most popular handling upgrades we offer. Your VIN shows up as a 22,000lb chassis so the UTF53V10R is the correct part.
