I have purchased these recommended knock sensors and wire harnesses for my 2005 Fleetwood Southwind 37L (Workhorse W22 w/ 8.1L Vortec)...I can reset the OBD2 codes and the check engine light stays off until I start the engine up again...then the check engine light comes on after a few minutes...same knock sensor codes.... clear the codes and the check engine light stays out for as long as the engine is running (10 minutes or 4+ hours)...shut engine off to re-fuel...re-start and the light will come on in just a few minutes. Any suggestions on what else I could check?

PO135 code on reader. 2005 Workhorse 8.1 Is the KS 112 a replacement for this vin # ? Who is the manufacture and assembly origin ? Also referring to diagram items 5&6, is this sensor the same for bank ! or Bank 2
( Frank Freeman, 05/18/2023 )
Yes, this is the replacement part # for your 8.1L V8 knock sensor. It is the same sensor on bank 1 and bank 2. The manufacturer is SMP and they are assembled in Mexico. ( Support )
Is this the part i need for this vehicle thank you

Will these work on my 08 Kodiak C5500 with the 8.1.
Thanks

Unfortunately we are unable to lookup part #'s for your Chevrolet C5500, however, I do believe all of the 8.1L's use these same knock sensors. You would be able to confirm by contact a GM dealer and having them verify the part #. ( Support )

I just got CODE PO332 on my 2007 Workhorse W22 (Engine Light) - Would this be the issue? Also are there more than one (1)? Should I also replace the pigtail wiring to both? It appears this is the correct part for my chassis.
( Wilfred Bush, 06/26/2019 )
This is the correct part but we are emailing you the diagnostic trouble shooting steps for that code to aid in diagnosing the issue. ( Support )

I have a 2003 Winnebago Brave, Workhorse chassis, and 8.1 Vortec. Is this knock sensor OEM? It appears it may be based on number.
( Jim Muir, 06/05/2016 )
Jim,
Yes this is the OEM knock sensor for your 8.1L.

Hi Do you need to change both sensors if only one is giving the error reading Cheers Peter
( Peter, 02/04/2016 )
Peter,
It would not be necessary but it wouldn't be a bad idea to do so.
