Do you send me new ecu/Tcm that I just plug and play? Or do I send you mine ans you just reflash them?

If you choose to pay the core charges, we would send you modules that are programmed and plug and play. If you decide to send your modules in, we would re-flash them and send back.
Hi, i just bought a 2006 c5500 (ex uhaul) with the 26' rails. What's different that i can't get the transmission tuned aswell?
( Alex, 11/14/2020 )
The truck needs to have the standard 5 speed Allison controller in order for us to tune it: https://www.ultrarvproducts.com/29537441-Workhorse-Allison-5-Speed-Transmission-Computer
Does the 8.1 tune run on 87 fuel or does it need 91/93. I did not see it listed as fuel needed.

You could use either with our tune. The Higher octane would just allow for a higher spark advance. Most customers just use 87 when fueling.
Currently all stock '05 Kodiak 5500 RV chassis - 8.1 and I think the 1000 Allison. 60K miles. Pipe is black - always smells "rich" at idle (no codes). Towing 4200lb jeep. Definitely doing the ECM and TCM - hoping it helps on the hills next trip out, and that something better than 5.5-6.5mgp is possible (back to the black pipe). Your recommendation - is there much to be gained by deleting the cats, and disconnecting the "output" O2 sensors (but leaving the input), or disconnecting all of them? If we're looking at minimal improvement, I'll just leave 'em in-place. Thanks!

JT, The black pipes are totally normal for this engine, and removing the exhaust components would actually have a negative effect on the performance. So you would be doing great with just the tuning!
Hello, I have an 04’ Winnebago Itasca Sunova on the P32 8.1 Workhorse chassis with an Allison trans. Will this work on my motorhome? I couldn’t find anything specific about the P series only the W series. Thanks!

Your P32 does not have an Allison transmission, it is a GM 4L85-E transmission. This transmission is controlled by the engine computer so you would not require purchasing a separate tune for the transmission.
