What if I sell my RV, can I keep the tuner and use it on my new motorhome?
( James Martin, 09/18/2021 )
Yes, you can do so BUT you must return the original vehicle back to stock. This is very important as the device is married to the vehicle it is tuned to. The new RV would also have to be a Ford to be compatible and will require you purchase a new tune for that RV.
I see that you tune for 87 octane, where I live we use 87 octane, but traveling up north they use 86 octane, do I need to use a higher octane up north or will the tuner make the changes for octane use?

The reason that they use 85 or 86 octane up north is that they are likely at a much higher elevation. The higher the elevation, the less octane is required to achieve the same results, which makes it totally fine to use when in those areas.
I purchased the pn 7015 from your company and I am satisfied with the new program when not in tow mode but tow mode is still stretching the shifts out to long. My question is can I make changes to the program myself? I want to change the shift points when towing and not have the cruise engine brake so soon.

To understand better, are you asking if the tow/haul mode can be made to be more like normal mode? The purpose of tow/haul mode is to stretch out the gear shifts, so just want to be clear on that. You can not make those changes yourself, we would need to create a new tune with your requests and can email the update. We would need specific speeds and RPM's at which you would like it to shift at.
I have a 2008 Georgetown f53 chassis. I like the sound of your performance enhancing and transmission shift controlling . On occasion, I tow a 24 ft enclosed trailer with a 3000 lb drag car. Is it possible to have 2 tunes downloaded- one for with trailer and one for without trailer as I don’t think it would be possible to cover both scenarios effectively.

We would make you one customized tune and when you are towing the trailer, you would just want to run it in Tow/Haul mode and when not towing you would leave it in normal mode.
Do you have a list of Monitors/gauges that one can monitor? Looking for things like Coolant temp, oil temp, fuel pressure, .....trying to decide if I need a Scangauge 2 as those can monitor quite a few thngs
Thanks

I do not have an exact list of all the parameters that the SCT X4 will display for your vehicle but I will say that ScanGauge2 is a much better data monitor. The X4 is sort of clunky for that purpose and the data it does display is more technical data such as spark advance, throttle position, MAF counts.
