I was reading your competitors ( 5 star ) information . there program will slow the engine and transmission going down hill . does your program work the way? ( Howard Nichol, 04/17/2021 )
Your tow/haul mode should engage your transmission/engine braking. We do not modify this.
I have a 2020 Georgetown GT7, Ford F53 Chassis 6.8 V10 6 speed, does the Tuner allow me to take off the speed limiter as one of the options while it's running it's Flash? Does it allow me to set the Speed limiter? Also do you use the Tow/Haul mode still while towing a vehicle behind the RV or is it better to leave it off? ( Shawn Enser, 04/11/2021 )
Yes, just request that the speed limiter be removed and we will do so in the tune. Tow/Haul will still be active, we recommend using it mostly on downhill descents to aid with engine braking. The difference between tow/haul and normal mode on acceleration is that it will hold each gear longer before it upshifts with tow/haul on.
2008 Ford F250 / 6.8 w 4.10 gears, stock exhaust, K&N filter in stock airbag - very occasional towing of flatbed trailer with vehicle on it. Mostly just around town, daily driver, empty. Can you provide an 87 octane tune that will help with performance (something in the 60lb ft range)?

Banks' product costs close to the same and advertises only a 20lb ft. increase. Is there that much difference in the RV platform that allows the larger increase versus a consumer truck like the F250?

Thanks.

Yes, we can definitely set you up with a tune that will produce a solid 60+ lb-ft torque. The reason that Banks tuner only adds around 20HP is that the only change they make in the programming is removing the delay into power enrichment under wide open throttle. They do nothing with the spark, fuel or transmission tables.
Does this tuner tune the transmission so that it is not always shifting up and down due to slight upgrades that drives me nuts ( Bud Cooper, 04/08/2021 )
Yes, there would be a significant improvement in the shifting, much less downshifts on slight hills.
Will the tuning affect emissions testing as required by the state of Arizona? Does towing a vehicle figure in determining the tuning specifications? ( Rick, 04/05/2021 )
We do not have certifications with any state for emissions testing, we recommend returning the vehicle back to stock before taking it in for testing. With an RV already being under load all the time, we don't really need to take towing weight into consideration as we are already setting them up for max GCWR.
