IF I WAS TO PURCHASE THIS UNIT FOR MY 2018 E350 super duty v10 RV now being it’s closed up or winter would I be able to do th install in the spring and will the price be the same at $499.00 .AND DOES THIS PRODUCT AVOID VEHICLE FACTORY WARRANTIES.

Yes the price will remain the same. Ford can void the warranty for any aftermarket product but you are protected under the Magnusson-Moss Act. The beauty of this product is that you can return to stock before taking into Ford and they won't know that it was ever altered.
IGNITION PINGING EVEN WITH 93 OCTANE FUEL(1800-2200 RPM) ALSO BAD MPG 7-8 MPG ON 2017 E350 V10 25 FT RV ALSO LACKING OF POWER CLIMBING HILLS WILL YOUR PRODUCT THAT CARE OF THESE PROBLEMS THANK YOU BOBBY K

If your engine is already pinging, especially with high octane fuel, there is a serious issue with either air flow or fuel delivery. I would check the air intake system for restrictions, I have seen the flap that holds the intake into the radiator shroud block the inlet if not installed properly.
Our first "drivable" after owning 5th wheels for years. Should we decide to trade up this class C to another with a Ford V10 engine can we use your tuner or will it have to be reprogrammed.
Also I see comments that a PC Laptop is required to install the tuners software. Is that for an initial "preprogrammed" unit or is it a plug into OBDB port and go?

If you were to change vehicles to another Ford, the device can be used on it AS LONG as you return the original vehicle back to stock programming. The new vehicle will require a new tune, which can be purchased separate from the device and will save you about $300. When we set the device up for the initial vehicle, we load the tune to the device so it is a simple plug into the OBD2 port and program. If you need a tune for a new vehicle, you would need a PC to download the software used to load the tune onto the device.
I have a general question, CAN I use a higher octane with your upgrade? I have a F53 2018 v10. Thanks!

You can use higher octane with our upgrade. Our standard is 87 octane, we can program for premium also or you can run premium with the standard upgrade program .
Does this correct the big lag in shifting up during acceleration?
( Pete Peters, 12/12/2020 )
Yes the tune would definitely help with that. You have a very early model V10/4R100 combination so the shifting strategies were pretty bad.
