My Allison transmission computer is in default mode...... do you have one available?? This is a Fleetwood Bounder 2002 8.1 workhorse ( Laurens Wright, 12/10/2021 )
Yes, we do have these in stock and can ship ASAP. The issue you are describing would not be eligible for a core refund.
I have a 2001 Silverado 2500HD with 8.1L and Allison. I recently had a P0700 code with several other codes after moving the TCM without unplugging it. Additionally, the trans temp gauge and PRND321 indicator (the line under the gear) have disappeared. I disconnected the harness and found that pin C1_16 has been pulled back into the connector. I re-seated the pin, plugged the connector back in and erased the codes. No codes came back but the trans temp gauge and PRND321 indicator are still not functioning. The NSBU appears to be functioning since the reverse lights work and all the power and ground pins on harness connector C2 are working.

Can I send the TCM to be tested for any fatal internal faults that warrant repairing or replacing the TCM?
Instead of replacing my TCM, can it be repaired instead? What is the cost for such a service?
If the TCM needs to be replaced, does my unit qualify as "rebuildable condition"?

Jonathan,
Our services pertain to only one specific failure with that TCM so it would not be something we repair. If you purchased our TCM, yours would not be eligible for the core refund.
Only has reverse and one forward gear i belive to be 3rd gear transmission light is on has a shift selinoid B electrical code(p0778) and a system voltage code (p0562) and (p0561) the internal harness in transmission was replaced as well as shift selinoid B and problem did not change we then ran a continuity test on the harness from tcm down to transmission and found no issues all power and grounds coming into the tcm seem correct could this be a failed tcm? is there any way to test my old one? 2003 winnebago brave 8.1 gas with allison auto. 54k miles and the fluid and internals of the transmission look perfect no metal or clutch material what so ever so im stumped ( joey yearta, 07/17/2020 )
If you can find another 01-04 Workhorse with the Allison transmission, you could plug that TCM in to see if the issues go away or stay. That would tell you if the TCM is bad, which it sounds is pretty likely.
The TCM is a model 29537441 with date of 08-12-2002. I am the 4th owner, so I am not sure this is the OEM unit. It appears to be the same you have pictured. Do you have a TCM that works for me? Southwind 2003 B36 on a Workhorse W22 chassis, 8.1L vortec engine.

The 29537441 would be the correct TCM for your application.
Hello
I have a 2005 P42 Workhorse step van that is blowing the TCM BATT fuse whenever the TCM is plugged in and the battery is connected. It has a Cummins ISB 170 3.9L diesel motor and an Allison 1000 transmission. The TCM number is W0005263. Will this computer work for my application or do you have one that will?
Thanks

We do not have the software to use for your engine combination. I would recommend going to an Allison Dealer for this particular vehicle. They would need the information off the tag on the TCM to get you a replacement.
