2002 Avalanche 2500 3.73 gears, tires 265/75r16 vs 245/75r16 Can you adjust for tires? What is your recommendation on tire size? What does the tow/haul button do now with the new ecm?
( Bryan Gilbert, 05/27/2023 )
Yes, tire size can be adjusted in the programming to make the speedometer accurate. The smaller the tire, the less rotating mass which will translate to quicker acceleration and better MPG. The T/H button will push your shift points to a higher RPM before each shift.
Hi, I am from Quebec, Canada, I just want to know aproximately how much time I'll have to standby my ecm/tcm if I send you both from here?
Do you think it's more than three weeks??
may be the W22 Workhorse chassis is a 2003
and
The RV is a 2004 Newmar Country star

I do not think it would be quite 3 weeks, typically the transit time to us would be approximately 1 week with regular ground service, we would have it for 2-3 days and then 1 week back to you. This could of course be sped up with a faster shipping service, maybe even cut down to 1.5 weeks.
Is your dyno sheet numbers on a stock unit with just your tune? Or are there other modifications to reach those numbers? Ie. exhaust, intake modifications?

Those graphs are from a stock unit, tuning only.
Just purchased your ECM upgrade and want to change spark plugs and wires before changing. All the forums say you recommend setting the gap at .045 instead of .06. Should I do this before test drive?
( John Deaton Jr., 03/15/2023 )
With our Magnum spark plug wires you do not need to change the gap from .060 to .045. If you are using standard spark plug wires, then there is some benefit to the smaller gap. Regardless, you don't need to do this prior to test driving.

Assuming all else is good like you describe, I'm sure we can make that 8.1L run right with our tuning.
