I HAVE PURCHASED a tune program from HP tuners.. but have now been told by a third party my ECM will not accept a reprogram. It needs some pins swapped around to make it accept a new tune. Can you fix this problem? if so how much $. I have tried to install a new tune with a laptop n no change in truck . If i purchase your tune on my ECM will it be retunable with the HP program ?

We aren't able to do anything to help with this issue as our tuning software is different than HP Tuners and wouldn't change anything to make it compatible with their software.
Hello, I have a 00 K3500 7.4L and was interested in this ECM. I was wanting to do this soon. Everything is bone stock except the cats are open. Not sure if there is any changes to the tune needed because of this? I had interest in later down the road installing a cam, headers, EGR delete and that's about it. is this something that a local tuner could make minor mods to what you already have or would I need to send this back to you to have reprogrammed? It's not 100% that I am actually doing all these mods, just trying to plan for the future.

Depending on the cam you end up deciding on, that may require a re-tune. The deletes could be done in the ECM at the time of programming it in anticipation that you would be doing the physical removal later on.
I have a 2001 L21 that I would like to use with my 1979 Camaro. It would be a manual trans install if I can figure that part out. I have the ecu that ran the motor. I was hoping to get it running as is with its factory efi and coil packs. Can you help me perhaps suggest a path that will work if possible?
Thanks,
Mike-

We do not deal with the ECM used in the L21 application. My suggestion would be to check with Wester's Garage out of Alberta, Canada.
Hello, I have 1999 C3500 with a 454 and trying to see if your tune will help with the performance of my truck. Currently the Cats are gone and the egr has been deleted. The O2 sensors are still plugged in. For some reason I still have a slight miss and I think it’s because I still have the stock program running with the cats and egr emissions parts gone. Also, the check light is on. Will your ecu help?

Yes, the tune will most definitely help the performance. The miss could be attributed to still having stock programming but I wouldn't say that for certain. Of course with the tune, we can turn off the check engine light.
Is it possible to tune the ECM to get rid of the GM efi system and install an HEI distributor and carb? I’d like to get rid of the factory efi system on my 2000 3500 and install a carb with a hei distributor but I’d like to know if the ecm can be tuned run everything else in the truck (trans control, gauge panel, fuel pump, etc).

Yes, this can be done.
