I have a 99 fleetwood v10 southwind class A. Can I expect the average gains of 50 hp and torque with the benefits of everything else mentioned. Throttle response of shifting etc. are these realistic gains worth the 500$ an does the tuner monitor anything. Or is it just a plug-in downloaded the tune and done ( Dan, 07/24/2020 )
A 1999 V10 would have the 2 valve head design which we see gains of 43 HP and 47 lb-ft torque. We constantly get feedback that the cost of the tuner is well worth it for the benefits that it provides without any real labor involved. The SCT X4 device does have monitoring capabilities, so if you are wanting to use it as a scan tool you can.
I just bought the Ultra RV tune for a stock F53 based RV. If I install the Banks Ram Air kit, will I need another tune program? Then, if I install the Banks header kit ($1799), will that require another tune program?

Thx,

We will only need to re-tune for the long tube headers, there is no charge for this.
Hi,

I have 2013 Hurricane RV F53 and did installed a 5 star tuning in 2014, so I have the early model SCT X3 device. Can I use this and
just buy the tune only?
( Fidel Avanzado, 06/14/2020 )

Yes we have just the tune available to purchase here: https://www.ultrarvproducts.com/Ford-V10-UltraPower-Tune-Only

You can still enter in the X3 serial, we can make a tune for that still.

HELLO
I have a 2020 Tiffin Allegro Open Road V-10 Gas.

I read on one of your reviews that a customer with a 2020 Newmar (similar application) - needed a "STRATEGY CODE" ?

Will you require the same for my RV as well?

thank you

We no longer need the strategy code before making your tune, just the VIN for the chassis.
How much HP and torque would your product add and does it void the warranty. Mine is a Phoenix cruiser 2910t year is 2017. ( John, 06/03/2020 )
We would gain you 43 horsepower and 47 lb-ft torque with our tune. As far as your warranty goes, it will not void it automatically. First of all, when you tune your vehicle the, SCT Tuner stores the stock file onto the device. When you are going to go in for Warranty work, you can return the computer to stock settings. The SCT tuner, unlike other brands, leaves absolutely no footprint in the PCM history. In order to deny any warranty repair the dealership has to prove without a doubt that the tune was the cause of the damage. We can thank the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act for this.

If you are overly concerned with this topic, talk to your dealer. Ultimately they are the ones that will make the decision.
