Is this fan assembly used only if the dash air conditioner is in use? Or is it also used to control the engine water temperature. ( Stephen Griggs, 05/31/2018 )

The electric A/C condenser fans are controlled by the PCM and will engage at a certain temperature to help with engine cooling.

Looking for the motor on this assembly. Do not need the shroud or blades. What would be cost for the motor unit only?

Sorry, but the motor is not sold separate from the fan assembly. We can only buy it complete.

Unfortunately the fan assembly that your chassis requires is no longer made. The part# was W8000346, You will have to find an aftermarket fan to use in its place.
