i REPLACED THIS W8000130 SENSOR AND NOW HAVE A BRAKE FAILURE ALARM. HOW DO I FIX IT?
( Craig Winn, 07/03/2017 )
remove the sensor again and clean out any debris that may be in there using  a pick and reinstall the switch. This will usually fix that issue. Let us know if it does not and I can assist further.

I am interested in purchasing the Pressure Switch, but $23 for shipping is a bit too much. What is you cheapest shipping for this small object. Thanks,

Burt,

If you give us a call we can discuss alternate shipping methods that might save you some money. 800-417-4559.

what does the switch do

( jim, 12/04/2015 )

In the center of the Combination Valve (which is where the sensor screws into) is a single wire connector that works in conjunction with a slide in the center of the valve. If brake pressure is lost to either the front portion or the rear portion of the system, the switch grounds and illuminates a warning light in the instrument cluster. This is a warning that something is wrong.

If you remove this switch, does fluid run out of master cylinder. How to replace this switch.

Dale,

No you will not lose any fluid. The switch simply screws into the master cylinder body, however, you must be very careful as it has plasic threads so it is very easy to strip it out.
