Looking to find a Tcm for my 2008 Gulf Stream bounty hunter motorhome, has 8.1 with Allison.
Will this up grade you offer work on it?
( Tom, 02/10/2023 )
We only supply the 5 speed Allison TCM which fits up to 2005 model year. You would have the Allison 6 speed which you will have to contact an Allison dealer about a replacement TCM.
Will this work on 2002 Chevy 2500HD 8.1w/ 5 speed Allison. I may be swapping the transmission, because current one has lots of miles will tune still work on both?

Yes, it will work. As long as you stick with an Allison 5 speed as the replacement, you won't have any issues.
2008 w22 8.1 do you have and before and after hill climb data steep hills now I pull at 48mph pulling Jeep Wrangler
( Mitch syverson, 09/13/2022 )
Hello Mitch , the bar graphs that show before and after results are from our chassis dyno, which applies resistance to the rear tires on rollers that simulate a load or a hill. You will definitely have improvement on pulling grades while towing . 50-60 hp and 70-80 ft.lbs of torque will make a substantial difference .
I installed the Banks headers with the H crossover this summer and fell like that was a big improvement. Not sure if I saw any gas MPG improvement but nice performance improvement, a few hills that before it would downshift I stay in overdrive. Would I see even more of a performance improvement with the ECM and TCM that it makes it worth the money?
2004 Winnebago Adventurer 8.1 65,000 miles

Yes, the programming works very well whether the vehicle is completely stock or has modifications like yours. The Banks headers and programming are the two upgrades that make the most difference in performance on that vehicle.
It is a 2002 avalanche 2500 not sure if it’s 4l80 or 85 but I just bought it and it has no cats and also just has 2 02 sensors is that something you can work with and what kind of gains would I be looking at if so?
( Robbie , 09/03/2022 )
This should have the 4L85E, which is just a slightly updated version of the 4L80E. We can definitely work with what you have and would expect gains of around 50-60 horsepower and 70-80 lb. ft torque.
