I have a 03 Kodiak 4500 with an 8.1 L , I am wondering if you have a cold air intake that will work with this truck , and will the ECM tune will work with this truck ?

We do not offer or know of an aftermarket cold air intake for this application but our ECM tuning will absolutely work. We have tuned a lot of Kodiaks w/ the 8.1L so our gains are on par with what we gain on other applications.

Does this ram air system require any re-tuning?

Is improved exhaust required?

No you do not need to re-tune but to take full advantage of the extra air flow the UltraPower Custom Tuning would be beneficial. The exhaust is also not required but will help some too.

Quick question guys, just ordered your 8.L magnum wires and AC Delco plugs, love em by the way! Will this RAM air intake system work with my 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 8.1L? Or is just for the motor homes?

This Banks Ram Air intake is only for the Workhorse RV chassis with the 8.1L. It looks like K&N makes a kit, part# 57-3030-1.
