The Allison transmission brake assembly can be used in place of this GM transmission brake assembly but the mounting plate must be swapped from the old brake to the new in order for it fit. See instructions below on how to do this. Please note that doing this modification does void the warranty on the brake and should only be done by a professional mechanic.
